The Customization Process: From CAD to Craftsmanship
1. Design & Color Matching (Bespoke Aesthetics)
The lobby featured a complex architectural layout. Our design team developed a seamless custom rug design that incorporated 12 distinct color gradients to match the interior palette. Using advanced CAD rug rendering, we provided the client with a 1:1 visual representation before production began.
2. Material Selection for Durability
For a hotel lobby hand tufted rug, material choice is critical. We selected New Zealand Wool for its natural resilience and soil resistance. To add a touch of luxury, we integrated botanical silk highlights into the floral patterns, creating a sophisticated 3D shimmering effect under the lobby’s chandeliers.
3. Technical Precision in Manufacturing
To ensure the 500sqm custom carpet remained stable, we utilized a double-cloth primary backing and a high-strength latex secondary backing.
Pile Height: 10mm – 12mm for optimal underfoot comfort.
Pile Weight: 8.5 lbs/sq.yd to withstand heavy footfall and luggage trolleys
