Project Overview
Designed for elite clients and private corporate screenings, the Ritz-Luxury VIP Boutique Cinema in Dubai features fully reclining leather loungers, dine-in theater services, and premium acoustic isolation between individual private screening pods.
The Challenge
Because waitstaff continuously enter and exit the dark auditoriums to serve gourmet meals and drinks during the movies, the floor covering had to completely eliminate the sound of footsteps and service carts. Simultaneously, the flooring needed to match the ultra-luxury interior design of a 7-star resort.
The QIANQIAO Solution
QIANQIAO Carpet designed a custom, high-density Axminster cinema carpet with an elevated pile height and an ultra-dense weave structure (Row 10 configuration).
Acoustic & Impact Isolation: This dense construction, paired with an upgraded polyurethane cushion backing, provided an industry-leading sound barrier that absorbed nearly all footfall sound, allowing the waitstaff to move invisibly and silently in pitch-black settings.
Dine-In Protection: Recognizing the high risk of food and beverage accidents in a dine-in cinema, QIANQIAO applied a deep permanent stain-repellent backing barrier that prevents liquid spills from penetrating into the subfloor, eliminating bad odors and mold risks.
