ToggleTechnical Mastery: Nylon Printing vs. Hand-Tufted Artistry
To achieve the 12,000m² scale while maintaining the “boutique” feel of the Hyatt brand, Qianqiao implemented a dual-material strategy:
A. High-Definition Nylon Printed Carpets (Corridors & Guest Rooms)
For the high-traffic corridors and guest living areas, we utilized High-Definition Nylon Printed Carpets.
Precision Engineering: Our advanced 16-color injection printing technology allowed for the perfect execution of “restrained lines”—ensuring that geometric patterns remain sharp and aligned across hundreds of meters of hallway.
Durability: Using Nylon 6.6 fibers, these carpets offer exceptional resilience against crushing and staining, vital for a hotel that hosts business travelers year-round.
Acoustic Insulation: The dense pile height was specifically engineered to absorb the sound of rolling luggage and footsteps, preserving the “quiet luxury” atmosphere of the guest floors.
B. Bespoke Hand-Tufted Carpets (Lobby & VIP Areas)
In the Hyatt House “Commons” and VIP lounges, we introduced Hand-Tufted Carpets to provide a sensory climax.
Tactile Texture: These carpets feature varying pile heights (high-cut and low-loop) to create a 3D architectural effect that guests can feel underfoot.
Artistic Freedom: Hand-tufting allowed our designers to break the grid, introducing organic transitions between color blocks that look like hand-painted watercolors.
Material Luxury: Blending New Zealand wool with silk-like botanical fibers, these areas radiate a natural sheen that reflects the hotel’s premium positioning.
