Designing for 13,500 square meters requires more than just aesthetic appeal; it requires technical foresight.
A. Zoning Through Texture and Pattern
A massive office space can feel clinical or overwhelming. Our design team used the flooring to create “visual wayfinding.”
Open Workspaces: Needed durable, modular solutions for high traffic.
Executive Suites & VIP Lounges: Required a sense of luxury and superior underfoot comfort.
Conference Rooms: Focused on acoustic dampening to facilitate clear communication.
B. Acoustic Management
In a software development environment, “deep work” is essential. We selected PE-backed carpet tiles specifically for their ability to absorb ambient noise and impact sounds (footsteps, rolling chairs), reducing the “echo-chamber” effect common in glass-heavy modern architecture.

Qianqiao PE Carpet Tiles (The Functional Core)
The bulk of the 13,500 m² installation utilized Qianqiao PE (Polyethylene) backing carpet tiles. These were chosen for several reasons:
Environmental Sustainability: PE backing is more eco-friendly and recyclable compared to traditional PVC backing, aligning with modern green building standards.
Dimensional Stability: These tiles resist shrinking and curling, ensuring the floor remains seamless and safe over years of heavy use.
Modular Flexibility: Should a spill or damage occur, individual tiles can be replaced without disturbing the entire office floor.
For the reception lobby, VIP meeting rooms, and executive corridors, we installed premium Axminster carpets.
Intricate Patterns: Unlike tufted carpets, Axminster looms allow for complex, woven designs that represent Zhengfang Software’s brand colors and sophisticated corporate culture.
Durability: Woven with high-quality wool and nylon blends, these carpets maintain their pile height and “luxe” feel even in high-visibility areas.
